I’m having a great summer, so far I’ve been to book events in Maine, Milwaukee, and Virginia, as well as the Malice Domestic conference in Maryland. I love meeting readers of The Irish Village Mystery Series.
On that note, I have just finished the fourth book in the series, Murder in an Irish Pub and will come out in February of 2019. I will also have a Barnes and Noble exclusive book coming out in 2019 and a Christmas novella, details to come.
Next up are the Dublin Ohio Irish Fest, August 3 to 5th, and the Milwaukee Irish Fest August 16 to 19th.

Lastly, in September comes the republishing of my very first novel, She’ll Take It, complete with a new cover.
On this snowy Monday in April, some sweet news. My fourth novel, My Sister’s Voice, about twins, one deaf and one hearing who do not meet until they are women in their twenties, is going back to press for its 8th printing! It’s the little book that keeps on chugging. Made my Monday a little easier.
Currently working on Murder in an Irish Pub, the fourth book in the Irish Village Mystery Series.
Murder in an Irish Churchyard was released this past February in hardback, and Murder at an Irish Wedding in mass paperback. Happy to report Murder at an Irish Wedding has been on Barnes and Noble’s bestselling mass paperbacks list for ten weeks in a row.
Just returned from an events in Milwaukee and Maine with Boswell Books and Print: A Bookstore. Next up, Malice Domestic in Bethesda, MD.
Wishing you all a happy Spring!
I hope everyone’s year is off to a good start! I have an exciting year ahead and hope you do too. In 2017 I became a USA Today Bestseller with Murder in an Irish Village under my pen name Carlene O’Connor. The third mystery in The Irish Village Mystery series– Murder in an Irish Churchyard, will be released next month– February 26th 2018. It’s already received great reviews from Kirkus, Publisher’s Weekly, and Romantic Times. I also have several bookstores lined up to visit as well as reader/author conferences. Lastly, She’ll Take It, my first novel, will be re-released in September of 2018 with a fun new cover.

HAPPY SUMMER READING!!!
HOME WITH MY SISTERS has just been released.
“Carter’s latest will reach readers’ hearts with its genuine conversations, authentic situations and strong tension. Within a solidly developed plot, Carter expresses the complex relationships between sisters that can be wrought with emotions — both positive and negative. Hope, Faith and Joy are vivid and distinctively individual in character and their interactions authentic. This is an engaging read.”– RT Book Reviews, 4 Stars
